One of the most successful bands to emerge from the rubble of the All-Ages scene in Portland is Sparks the Rescue. Their rigorous record, tour, record, tour work ethic has earned them spots on Warped Tour, opening slots for The All American Rejects, cover songs on the Punk Goes Pop 3 compilation, and winning the 2009 "I Want My Music On MTV! Competition!"
In 2011 they released their second full length album "The Worst Thing I've Been Cursed With." Channeling their influences Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Jimmy Eat World and Saves The Day, Sparks the Rescue is returning to rebuild the All Ages scene that made them who they are with the energy and charisma they are known for.
